When John Carey is involved I don't bother reading what is involved, I just buy it. This Academy is what you would expect from JC. Clearly taught effects that anyone can do.

A really excellent evening. I am a beginner in magic and John has made me feel like I can achieve really excellent card magic. Just takes some practice but not knuckle busting sleight of hand. Many thanks John and the Alakazam team.

Any time JC does an Academy it's an instant purchase for me. The reason I keep coming back is John always teaches practical material that's not too difficult to perform, but always packs a punch. John's teaching style is laid back and thorough, and he clearly loves what he does with a passion. Lots of great material here and well worth anyone's time and money.

John Carey was the first Academy 'tutor' and he makes a very welcome return, with another tour-de-force of card magic, coin magic and a few moves and techniques, all delivered in his inimitable laid-back style.

John is truly the postman of card magic, all he does is deliver, deliver and deliver this is truly an amazing academy, full of easy to work, fully commercial close up magic ideal for everyone regardless of skill or magical level cards and coin effects are shown and taught in the typical clear to understand manner and the first routine is worth the price of the academy alone 100% knocked out the park

soo happy JC is back, again great magic, made as easy but powerful as possible.... I remember why I'm a JC fan since the first zero to hero.... Thanks for this fantastic evening
