What does "Back Order / On Order” mean?

If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. This email will always give a rough restocking time but should you require a more specific estimate then please telephone is on: +44 (0) 1233 663636 between 10am and 5pm Monday – Friday (10am – 3pm Saturdays)


Can I return an item to Alakazam Magic?

Alakazam Magic Ltd aim to guarantee your satisfaction in all cases but please be fully aware of the following returns policy before making a purchase:

When you purchase a magic product you are buying a secret as well as a prop in many cases. Alakazam Magic Ltd will only exchange items that are FAULTY and not for any other reason (Faulty items should be reported to Alakazam not later than 7 days after you have received your item). In the case of faulty items, upon receipt of the item, Alakazam Magic Ltd will issue a straight swap for another unit of the same product that will be checked by our staff before dispatch. Alakazam Magic Ltd will only exchange faulty DVD’s for a working copy of the same title; titles cannot be exchange for alternatives. Books cannot be returned if the shrink-wrap has been opened and will only be exchanged in cases of damage in transit for an undamaged duplicate title.

In the case that a customer should wish to make a return then please email the office on: sales@alakazam.co.uk or call us on: +44 (0) 1233 663636 to be advised by a member of the team before posting items back to us. We will only accept returns once agreed through correspondence with the customer and Alakazam Magic Ltd reserves the right to refuse an exchange if they deem that a product is damaged through extensive use as opposed to a manufacturing defect. In extreme cases where a duplicate exchange may not be possible, then a store credit will be offered. This is agreed through liaisons between Alakazam Magic Ltd and the customer. 

If you try to return an item that is not FAULTY and simply because it is "not what you thought it was” or "does not fit your style” then Alakazam Magic Ltd do not deem this appropriate grounds for exchange and reserve the right to refuse the return and will simply return the item to you if no correspondence or agreement has been made prior to Alakazam Magic Ltd taking receipt of the return. *If however Alakazam Magic Limited do agree to accepting the item back a restocking fee of 25% and cost of postage will be deducted. If you require advice or have any queries about any of our items before you make a purchase, then please call our INFORMATION LINE on +44 (0) 1233 663636 so that we can advise you as much as possible to ensure you make the right purchase for you – remember, we are here to help you.

How do I order from Alakazam?

At Alakazam Magic we always try to keep all listed items in stock at all time but this is sometimes not possible due to manufacturing or supply difficulties. If you require an item urgently and would like to check availability before you order then please either email or call us on sales@alakazam.co.ukor +44 (0) 1233 637888 and we can advise you accordingly and help get your items to you as fast as possible.

I am having a problem ordering – what should I do?

How do I make my purchase?

Making a purchase with Alakazam Magic Ltd could not be easier. Just browse our online catalogue and click on any items that you wish to buy, adding them to your shopping cart. Please note that all prices are shown in British pounds sterling. After you have finished your selection, click on ORDER and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept online payments via credit card or Paypal. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Solo, Maestro and American Express via the world pay option on our site. You are also able to pay via Paypal

 

When will my order be dispatched to me?

We dispatch all orders on the same day they are placed where possible, with the exception of weekends. If you want to guarantee your order gets dispatched the same day then please ensure that you place your order by 3:00pm GMT at the latest if ordering online and by 3:30pm GMT if ordering via telephone.

 

What does "declined” order mean?

If your credit or debit card is declined when processing your order we will email you immediately with notification. If we do not hear from you with in period of up to two days, your order will be automatically deleted from our database and you will need to reorder. Wherever possible, customers are advised to telephone the offices on the enquiries line: +44 (0) 1233 663636 in order to resolve the issue as quick as possible to ensure that the order can be dispatched as swiftly as possible.

 

Are my card details secure when ordering with Alakazam?

Absolutely! We use worldpay which is an off site payment processing site that is safe and secure. If you do not wish to enter your card details over the Internet then please feel free to telephone through your order on: +44 (0) 1233 637888 between 10am and 5pm Monday – Friday (10am – 3pm Saturdays)

 

Do you have a privacy policy?

Yes we do. Alakazam Magic Ltd does not disclose buyers’ information to third parties under any circumstances. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item. When you order products, Alakazam Magic Ltd will collect your name, address, contact and payment details. We require this information so that we can process and dispatch your order as well as contact customers if there is a query with their order. We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law.

 

Are prices subject to change?

Alakazam Magic Ltd reserves the right to alter the prices on any item at any time without prior notice. This may be due to fluctuation in currency exchange rates or an increase in production costs. All pricing changes are made at the discretion of the company and once made, are final. Any queries in regards to pricing changes should be directed to Alakazam Magic Ltd via any of the contact methods below.

 

Shipping to Europe (post BREXIT)

Please note due to BREXIT and the subsequent changes to the VAT and tax laws all customers inside the EU will now purchase products excluding VAT. 

Please be aware you may be charged additional duty and taxes in your country. Alakazam Magic are not responsible for any taxes, duties or charges which may be incurred upon your item's arrival to your country 


*Bundle Terms and conditions 

Please note if an item in your bundle is deemed faulty we will replace it like for like. In some instances we may allow you to exchange it for an alternative item which features in the bundle.

Please be aware that the refund value (if applicable) will be calculated by price /number of items.

Example 5 items for £99.99 = each item purchased will have a unit value of £20 and NOT the face value shown on our site.
