Hi, my name is Mick Wilson and I have been a psychic/cold reader for almost 10 years. I delivered my first lecture on the subject at the MIND6 Convention, in Newcastle in 2019. As a result of the ongoing great success of my S.E.F.A.R. lecture, I’m exceedingly proud to announce that I am bringing the lecture to the Alakazam Academy on Thursday 21st May.

Before you commit to spending your hard-earned cash, let me give you an insight into what you’ll get.

Rather than me sitting in front of a computer droning on and on, there will instead, be plenty of interaction during the class. I shall be giving a ‘live reading’ to one lucky delegate, Harry will be demonstrating his cold reading skills to show how easy this skill set is (I taught him only the basics back in February, in Blackpool), and I shall be demonstrating my ‘Hand Stick, That’s Not a Hand Stick, That NEVER Fails’ (not the catchiest of titles). Not forgetting, the chat room, where you can share thoughts, but most importantly, ask questions which I shall endeavour to answer.

We shall be covering the 6 basic essential elements of the 13 steps of my S.E.F.A.R. lecture in depth, from care and consideration, dealing with tearful sitters, knowing what to say and when, as well as eradicating the ‘hit hunting’ trap that so many mentalist/magicians fall into. These initial steps will give you the tools you need to get out there and give accurate readings as soon as the class is over. The best way to learn is to do it, so I shall be premiering my ‘21st Century Totem’ reading system I created with Stephen Young, which everybody can take part in.

I approach the subject from a ‘psychic reader’ point of view, as I believe instilling the cold reading skills in your mind this way, makes them a powerful random access tool to have in your arsenal, a mental sleight of hand as it were or as Dan Ives would put it, sleight of mouth. A tool/skill you can call on during a mentalism/magic performance, without having to think about it.

So, if you want to unlock and start perfecting a skill that you already have, but didn’t know about, book a place, you will surprise yourself more than you will anybody else at just how good you will be at the often frowned upon and avoided branch of our art.

My overall goal with the Academy Class, is for you, the delegate, to be the best you can be and hopefully, be better at it than me, it’s not impossible.
